How we handle your information

What we collect

We may collect contact details, facility location, equipment descriptions, photos, supplier information, invoices, quotes, purchase history, and other materials you choose to submit.

How we use it

We use submitted information to identify sources, verify stock and pricing, compare historical purchases with market data, contact you about your request, and improve the usefulness of the service.

What we do not do

We do not publish what your facility pays or sell your information to competitors. The price a supplier gives us is the price shown to you; we do not mark up equipment or services.

Confidential submissions

Historical benchmark submissions are handled confidentially. Current buying requests require a location and a way to reach you before quotes can be returned because availability, pricing, and lead times are regional.

Storage and service providers

Requests and attachments are saved in private storage so we can recover them if an email notification fails. We use hosting, storage, and email providers to operate this service. Access to saved submissions is restricted to operating and delivering the service. We retain records as needed to handle requests and maintain the service; you can contact us to request deletion.

Website measurement

We count page visits, broad referral categories, selected request types, and submission outcomes. Referral categories can identify an AI service or search engine; we do not send the referring page address or its query to analytics. These are event counts, not unique-person or session measurements. These counts do not include form contents, email addresses, attachment names, or persistent visitor identifiers. When enabled, we use PostHog to analyze these aggregate events, with person profiles and geolocation disabled. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for analytics. When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile verifies submissions to help prevent automated abuse. We also use short-lived network-derived hashes to limit automated abuse. Typed form drafts may be saved on your device so you can return to an unfinished request.
